NCLGISA conferences are intended for our members. Anyone who works in an IT-related position for NC local government is eligible. For complete membership details, click here. If you are not a listed member, you will not be able to register for conferences.
Thank you to our members who attend the Spring Conference in record numbers. Almost 300 of you made your way to Wilmington to participate. We hope you enjoyed the seminars and networking opportunities.
We are moving! The fall conference will be in Asheville at the Crowne Plaza Resort on November 12-14, 2008 with pre-conference training on November 11-12. The tentative agenda is available here..
NCLGISA conferences are eligible for continuing education credits. The records are maintained at the UNC School of Government's Center for Public Technology. The credits are issued at a rate of 1 credit per 8 hours of training.
Admissions, meals, and evening socials are included in the registration fee. Registration for the fall conference will open in August.
NCLGISA offers scholarships to members who would like to attend the conferences but who do not have money available for training. If you would like to apply for such a scholarship, please click here. Please include your unit of government, job title, and the specific items you need the scholarship to cover. Requests will be submitted to the NCLGISA board members for review, consideration, and selection. Applicants will be notified of their request status.
