OUR conference participants

NCLGISA conferences are intended for our members. Anyone who works in an IT-related position for NC local government is eligible. For complete membership details, click here. If you are not a listed member, you will not be able to register for conferences.

The fall conference will be in Asheville at the Crowne Plaza Resort on October 21-23, 2009 with pre-conference training on October 20-21. pda-image

NCLGISA conferences are eligible for continuing education credits. The records are maintained at the UNC School of Government's Center for Public Technology. Registration is limited to NCLGISA members only..

Admissions, meals, and evening socials are included in the registration fee. Registration for the conference will begin in August 2009 .

NCLGISA offers scholarships to members who would like to attend the conferences but who do not have money available for training. If you would like to apply for such a scholarship, please complete this form and click here to submit it to the board before March 18, 2009. Members are also eligible for other training scholarships through the LGFCU.

NCLGISA also offers scholarships to college students interested in a public-sector IT career. Such candidates must be sponsored by a government agency. If you would like to apply for such a scholarship, please complete this form and click here to submit it to the board.

Scholarship requests will be submitted to the NCLGISA board members for review, consideration, and selection. Applicants will be notified of their request status.
